This links below provide information on housing quality standards and is a great resource for tenants to review when looking for housing and for owners to review to ensure that housing units are safe, healthy and comfortable.

Housing Assistance Payment (HAP) Contract and Lease Addendum. The owner must abide by the terms of the Contract.

Form 52646. This voucher must be completed and signed by the tenant to search for housing. They must abide by the terms of the Voucher.

Request for Tenancy Approval. This is the form that the tenant gives to the owner of the unit where they want to move. It is completed by the owner and submitted to the housing authority for inspection and approval.

HQS Inspection Standards. HQS defines "standard housing" and establish the minimum criteria for the health and safety of program participants.
